died Thursday, October 18, 1990 at the nursing home. Funeral services will be 2 pm Sunday
at Ramm-Ziegler-Novak-Rettke Northside Chapel, Sheboygan. Rev. Robert Fictum will
officiate with burial at St. Gregory Cemetery, St. Nazianz.
He was born October 18, 1910 at St. Nazianz, son of the late Frank and Magdelina Stahl Kautzer.
He attended schools at St. Nazianz and after moving to Sheboygan with his family attended Holy
Name and Washington Schools. He was employed as a chair assembler for Thonet Company,
retiring in 1972. Mr. Kautzer was an Army Veteran serving in Italy and Africa during World War II.
He was also a recipient of the Purple Heart.
Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Ermelinda and Raymond Prahl of Sheboygan and
13 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by five brothers. Friends may call at the funeral
home on Sunday from 1 pm until the time of service.
