Janet Kloss Weber, age 92, died peacefully on Wednesday, August 9, 2017. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years Ludwig and is survived by three children: daughter Shirley Weber and son-in-law Victor Elderkin, Binghamton; two sons, Mark and daughter-in-law Darcie Wernli, Seattle, WA. and Kurt and daughter-in-law Dr. Sheryl Weber and grandchildren Natalie and Matthew, Dallas, TX. Born in Albany, NY Janet graduated from Hartwick College School of Nursing, Oneonta, NY, in 1946 where she had been a member of their first class of Cadet Nurses during WW II. A longtime member of First Presbyterian Church, Endicott, NY, Janet served as Elder and was active in the Presbyterian Women of the Church and of Susquehanna Valley Presbytery.
She loved reading, gardening and baking Christmas cookies for her family and many others. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 10 to 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Endicott, with a Funeral Service following at 11 a.m. Interment at Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Memorial Fund, First Presbyterian Church, 29 Grant Ave. Endicott, NY. Daughter of Mr. & Mrs M. C. Kloss.
