Mary Lou Pryor Losh, 85 of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2012, at Morristown Manor.
Born on October 20, 1926 in Lansing, Michigan. She was the daughter of Marie Mattie Crawford Pryor and Leonard Ben Pryor. The third of 4 children with sisters, Grace Pryor Morgan Poole and Joann Pryor Mitchell, and brother Jack (Bud) Pryor. She was married to Howard Junior Losh for 13 years and had 2 children.
Survivors include daughter Marlane Sue Losh Harrington of Freeland, WA; son, William Howard Losh of Shelbyville, IN; grandsons, William James Losh and Justin Ryan Losh; and great grandson Garett Donovan Losh.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Grace Poole; brother, Jack Pryor; and former husband, Howard J. Losh.
Mary was a former employee of Western Electric, Indianapolis Shadeland Plant for 30 years. After moving to Shelbyville, she also worked at CVS Drug Store and volunteered at Major Hospital.
She attended Washington High School.
Mary loved her family, friends, children, cats, and her garden. She was a loving, devoted mother and grandmother, a loyal friend, and responsible neighbor. Children were a special delight for Mary and she always had a smile and a kind word for everyone she met.
Visitation will be 11-1:00 PM Monday, Oct 22 at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens at Olive Branch. Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home, with Rev. Phil Krupksi officiating.
Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
