MARION THOMAS GATTI, 85, of Memphis, homemaker, died of heart failure Sunday at St. Peter Villa. Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Therese-Little Flower Catholic Church, where she was a communicant, with burial in Calvary. Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel has charge. She was a member of the Legion of Mary and a past volunteer for Madonna Learning Center. Mrs. Gatti, the widow of Joseph Paul Gatti, leaves two daughters, Marion Borg and JoAnn Johnson, and a sister, Camille T. Green, all of Memphis; a brother, Harry Lemuel Thomas Jr. of Dallas, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Peter Villa, Madonna Learning Center or the charity of the donor's choice. (Published in The Commercial Appeal on August 24, 1998)
