The following was written in 1984 by Adam Klopf of Bay City, Michigan:
About 1863 three KLOPF brothers, Joseph, John and Nickolas emigrated from Germany to the Saginaw Michigan area. Until about 1960 family reunions were held and a "family tree" for each of the brothers was developed on 2 1/2' x 4' boards. Those boards were left with me. I now have made this effort to transcribe the "trees" on a sheet that can be reproduced on copying machines so that those who so desire may have a copy. If space permitted any new information was added.
