Isabella Schmidt, 95, died Monday, Oct. 11, 1999 at the Gove County Long Term Care Center, Quinter where she had lived since 1993.
She was born Feb. 25, 1904 in Liebenthal to John and Anna (Heronema) Schmidt. She was raised in Liebenthal.
She was a housekeeper for the Dodge City and Salina Catholic Dioceses. She was a member of the Victoria Secular Franciscan Order and the Tipton Daughters of Isabella.
Survivors include brothers, Leonard of LaCrosse, George of Wichita, Leo of Great Bend; sisters, M. Bernadette of Wichita, Ann of Kearney, Annie Ziegler of Collyer.
Services were at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Liebenthal, with Monsignor George N. Schmidt officiating; burial in the church cemetery.
