Frank H. Dethlefsen, 63, a native of San Francisco who has maintained a home in Ben Lomond for the last 15 years but who has lived there permanently only for the last two weeks, died yesterday in his home at 350 Riverside drive, Ben Lomond. He was an active member and leader in the Wee Kirk of Ben Lamond for the last 14 years and was a clerk of the sessions. He was retired from the Hunger's Point naval shipyard. He is survived by his widow, Helen M. Dethlefsen; four sons, M/Sgt. Jack S. Dethlefsen of Texas, Robert B. Dethlefsen of Sunnyvale, Frank H. Dethlefsen Jr. of Colma, and Edwin S. Dethlefsen of Santa Barbara; a sister, Mrs. Buddie Hainline of San Mateo; a brother, Thomas A. Dethlefsen of San Francisco, 14 grandchildren, two nephews and a niece. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 3 p.m. in the Wee Kirk with Rev. Noah Houk officiating. Private inurnment will follow in the IOOF crematory. White's mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Donations may be made to the Wee Kirk of Ben Lomond building fund.
