TONY EUGENE 'GENE' SMITH, 64, of Southaven, retired driver for Keebler Cookie Co., died of heart failure Tuesday at Methodist Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven with burial in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens. He was a member of Southaven Church of Christ and was a first cousin to Elvis Presley. Mr. Smith, the husband of Louise Smith, also leaves a daughter, Margaret McKenzie of Memphis; two sons, Tony Smith Jr. and Mike Smith, both of Southaven; a sister, Laverne Gray of Southaven, and seven grandchildren.
