KUNTZ, Barney - Our family circle has been broken. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend left us at the age of 81, on March 8th, 2002. Barney was born in Davin, Saskatchewan on September 20th, 1920, the 11th of 18 children.
He was predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Catherine Kuntz; brothers, baby Dan, Lawrence, George, and Joseph; sisters Veronica Lochert, Mary Thomas, Caroline Reiss and Dorothy Knoll.
He will be remembered by his loving wife Jennie (Kiene) of almost 55 years, children Sandra (Robert), Allan (Debbie), Nelson (Lorie), Geraldine (Clarence), and Wayne (Dayna); 13 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren; brothers Anton (Kay), John (Maggie), Tom (Eileen), Jack (Frieda), Dan (Nina). Sisters Lucy Fetch, Kate Heisler, Betty (Albert) Fahlman, and Barbara Eberle; sisters-in-law Liz Kuntz, Marge Kuntz, Tilly Kuntz, as well numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and neighbours.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Christ the King Church, 3225 Garnet Street, Regina on Wednesday, March 12, 2002 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Tony Dizy celebrant.
Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Regina Palliative Care, 4101 Dewdney Ave., Regina, SK, S4T 1A5. Arrangements in care of Speers Funeral Chapel. Email condolences to the family can be sent to [email protected]
