Wilma, 92, Hanover St., Minster, died at 4:25 p.m., at Elmwood.

She was the daughter of William and Eleonora (Bohman) Brandewie. She married twice and survived both husbands. On May 27, 1941, she married Norbert J. Meyer, and in 1989, Louis M. Schockman.

Surviving are a son, Thomas J., Philippines; a daughter-in-law, Diane (Earl) Winner, Minster; two brothers: Omar (Clara), Osgood, and Jack, Montezuma; three sisters-in-law: Edna Meyer Prenger, Audrey Meyer and Audrey Meyer; and nine grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a son, Kenneth; a daughter, Bonnie (George) Ruestow; a grandchild, Kendra Ruestow Atherton; a great-grandchild; and twelve in-laws.

She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster. A homemaker, she helped with the family farm. She enjoyed cooking, baking, cross-stitching, dancing, walking, biking, and playing cards. She will be remembered most for her strength, her smile, and her precious cookies.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Augustine Catholic Church, with Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating.
