Surviving are two sons: William J. (June), Versailles, and James M. (Linda) Brandewie, Ft. Loramie; four in-laws: Clara Brandewie, Coldwater, Thelma Zegarelli, Utica, NY, and Rich (Mary Jean) Kemper and Robert (Judy) Kemper, both Minster; and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A lifelong farmer and former director of Osgood State Bank, he was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood. He was an antique Ford Tractor enthusiast.
