Kathleen (Tildy) Howell, 67, of Bexar, Ark., was born on Sept. 27, 1945, in Viola, Ark., daughter of Snowy Everette and Lillie Ethel (Dale) Dodd. She departed this life on March 3, 2013, at her home.
Kathleen was united in marriage to James Franklin Howell in 1962, at Calico Rock, Ark. She worked as a machine operator for Tri County Shirt Company, and she was of the Baptist faith.
Kathleen is survived by her husband, James Franklin Howell of the home, a daughter, Debbie Hensley and husband, Gary, of Bexar, Ark.; three sons, James Michael Howell and wife, Thersia, of Bexar, Ark., Jimmy Lynn Howell and wife, Tina, of Salem, Ark., and Kelly Joe Howell and wife, Jamie, of Bexar, Ark.; four grandchildren, Alichia Sinclair, Jessica Staack, Ariana Howell and Landon Howell; two great grandchildren, Madison Howell and Lilly Sinclair; a sister, Lorene Johnson of Batesville, Ark.; two brothers, Charles Campbell of Viola, Ark.; and Larry Dodd of Batesville, Ark.; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, James Dodd and Mack Campbell, and one sister, Sally Ashley.
Graveside services were held at Bexar Cemetery, Bexar, Ark., at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 with James Ashley officiating. Arrangements by Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Ark.
