Mrs Henry (Emma) Rietfort, 70, 613 3rd Ave SE, died at Waseca Memorial hospital Monday at 10:25 p.m. after an illness of seven months. Death was due to transverse myclitis. Private funeral services will be held at the Pfaff Funeral chapel Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock and from St Paul Lutheran church at 2 p.m. with the Rev Edgar Eifert officiating. Interment will be in Woodville cemetery. Nephews serving as pallbearers will be Jack Rietfort, Donald Winegar, Emery Gehring, Marlin Gehring, Lowell Menke, and Melvin Sutlief. Emma Lena Gehring, daughter of the late Henry and Augusta Gehring, was born in Wilton township, Feb 2, 1887. She was educated in the rural Waseca county schools. Her marriage to Henry Rietfort of Waseca took place Nov 18, 1914. The couple had no children. Surviving besides her husband are four brothers and three sisters: William and Lewis Gehring, Waseca; Arthur Gehring, Wilton, ND; Charles Gehring, Pasadena, Cal; Mrs W G (Dora) Raetz, Hydro, Okla; Miss Elfa Gehring, San Marino, Cal; and Mrs Albert Menke (Minnie), Waseca."
