"Lidwina Justine (Luetmer) Stacy was born Sept. 25, 1914 in Meire Grove, MN to Joseph Henry and Marie Josephine (Nietfeld) Luetmer. She attended Saint John's Grade School (Meire Grove, MN), Saint Benedict's Academy (Saint Joseph, MN) & Cathedral High School (Saint Cloud, MN).
"Lidwina married Milton Lansing Stacy on 25 October 1943 at the Church of St. John the Baptist in Meire Grove.
"After Milton's discharge from the Army after World War-II they made their home in Crystal, MN where she lived for more than 58 years.
"She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton; and an infant son Paul; parents, Joseph and Marie Luetmer; sisters, Sr. Nora Luetmer, OSB, and Rose O'Conner.
"She is survived by three children, Margaret Francis (& husband, Nicholas) of Maplewood, MN, John of Mounds View, MN, and Roger Stacy of Breezy Point, MN; grandchildren, Eric and Rae Stacy, Christopher and Erin Francis; sisters, Colette Gates, Marie Luetmer and Mary Lou Harris; brothers, Henry, Al and Larry Luetmer; nieces and nephews."
