Mrs. Josephine Bonura, 48, of 426 79th St. died Thursday in Buffalo (Feb. 18, 1971) after a long illness.

Born in Niagara Falls, she attended local schools and was graduated from Trott Vocational High School. She was most recently employed as a sales girl at Jenss Department Store.

She is survived by her husband Charles; two sons, Frank of San Jose, Calif. and Vincent Bonura of this city: a daughter Darlene, of this city; her mother, Mrs. Jennie Ferro of this city; two brothers, Joseph Governatori and Sam Ferro, both of this city; three sisters, Mrs. Mark (Alma) D'Elia and Mrs Mario (Marie) Pirastru, both of this city, and Mrs. Clark (Frances) Dye of Santa Ana, Calif.; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services took place on Monday, February 22 at 9 a.m. at the Magaddino Memorial Chapel and at 10 a.m. at Prince of Peace Church. Burial in St Joseph Cemetery.

Friends visited at the funeral chapel on Friday, Feb. 19 from 7 to 10 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. The rosary was said Sunday at 8:30 p.m.
