The former Loyola Gussert, she was born on August 10, 1905, in Greenleaf, the daughter of the late William and Katherine Felton Gussert.
On October 14, 1925, she was married to John Peters at St. Francis Catholic Church in Hollandtown. The couple farmed in the Forest Junction and Chilton areas until retiring and moving to Hilbert in 1970.
Survivors are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Vernon (Ethel) Overfech, and Mrs. Joseph (Myrtle) Heimmermann, both of Appleton, Mrs. Ted (Marlene) Burnette, Forest Junction; a son, Charles, R. 1, Hilbert; 17 grandchildren and a great grandchild.
Mrs. Peters was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Hilbert and its Christian Mothers Society.
Funeral Mass was at St. Mary Catholic Church in Hilbert, with the Rev. Anthony Birdsall, pastor, celebrant. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
