MRS. HENRY (ELIZABETH) BEUNING
Services for Mrs. Henry (Elizabeth) Beuning, 90, St. Rosa, were Tuesday, April 15 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with the Rev. Giles Nathe officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
Also officiating was the Rev. Lawrence Schmidt.
Mrs. Beuning died Sunday, April 13 at the Mother of Mercy Nursing Home in Albany.
She was born Jan 1, 1890, in Millwood Township to the late Gerhard and Bernadine (Katman) Von Bokern. She married Henry Beuning Nov 24, 1908 in Freeport and the couple farmed near St. Rosa until moving into the community of St. Rosa in 1943. She has been a nursing home resident for the past 12 years.
Survivors include sons and daughters, Lawrence, Spicer, Jerome and Mrs. Arnold (Sally) Viere, St. Rosa; Jude, Brooten; Mrs. Al (Ann) Kuffel, St. Cloud; Mrs. Ben (Connie) Hoeschen, Waubun; Mrs. Ed (Agnes Schwinghammer, Little Falls; Mrs. Al (Martha) Timp, Freeport; Mrs. Roman (Rose) Spanier, St. Joseph; brothers and sisters, Bernard, Shakopee; John, Fairmont N.D.; Joseph, Columbus, GA.; Mrs Rose Spier, Sauk Centre; Mrs. Regina Loehr, St. Cloud; 67 grandchildren; and 120 great-grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Feb 27, 1967, one son William and two sisters.
