Kathryn Louise Janetos Wilhelm, 86, of Parkersburg, passed away July 13, 2013, at the Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.
She was born in Wood County, W.Va., April 4, 1927, a daughter of the late Peter and Lucille Merritt Janetos.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, devoted to her family, who enjoyed spending her leisure time shopping.
Surviving Kathryn are her husband of 67 years, Richard Wilhelm Jr.; son, Richard Wilhelm III and Mary; daughter, Kyra L. Smith and Mark, all of Parkersburg; grandchildren, Kellyn L. Smith and fiance Nicholas D. Bartlow, Kyle Z. Smith, Krista Wilhelm Rojas and Rudy; great-grandchildren, Ryan Rojas, Rudy Rojas, Jr., Torynn Conaway and Rhyss Wilhelm Rojas; and sister, Helene Knaus of Tennessee. In addition to her parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by her brother, George Janetos, and special friends, Dr. Robert E. and Shirley Lawrence-Berrey.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. A private family service will be held at the family's convenience.
