Funeral services were held at the American Reformed Church in Orange City at 10:30 A.M., October 4 for Mrs. William Kalsbeek, 83, of Orange City, who died at the Orange City hospital October 1.
Services were conducted by the Rev. Albert Ten Clay and the Rev. Edward Blankespoor and burial was in West Lawn Cemetery at Orange City.
Mrs. Kalsbeek, the former Dora Visser, was born in The Netherlands October 9, 1891. She came to the U.S. in 1892.
She was married at Orange City March 13, 1913. The family lived in South Dakota, Chicago and Iowa, moving back to Orange City in 1929.
Mr. Kalsbeek preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. C. J. (Frances) Stegink of Orange City and Mrs. Robert (Arlene) Kovach of McLean, Va.; three sons, Gerald and Arthur of Orange City and John of Iowa City; 15 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Wm. Duitsman of Clara City, Minn.
