Miss Meta Albers

Miss Meta Albers, 78. of Route 3, Chilton, died at 5:50 p.m Sunday at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, after
suffering an apparent heart attack earlier in the day at her home.

Born Sept. 3, 1895, at Chilton, she was the daughter of Henry and Helene Schiller Albers. She attended Chilton Public School and was graduated from Chilton H i g h
School, Milwaukee C o u n t y School of Nursing and Lakeland School of Anesthesia at Cleveland., Ohio.

Miss Albers served as an Army nurse during World War I, and was employed by hospitals at Atlanta, Ga., St. Louis. Mo., and Lexington, Ky , retiring in 1958.

Her only survivor is a nephew. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral H o m e, Chilton. The Rev. Quentin Moeschberger of Ebenezer United Church of Christ, Chilton, will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Chilton.
There will be no visitation, but friends may call after 1p.m. Wednesday until the time of services.
