Fred Brethauer, 82, Heyburn, died Wednesday, Sep. 2, 1992 at this home. He was born Feb. 3, 1910, at Windsor, CO, the son of John and Mary Catherine (Kister) Brethauer. He married Alice Gibson Dec 28, 1940 at Greeley, CO. They farmed in the Greeley area until 1955, when they moved to the Burley/Rupert area, where he farmed until his retirement. They have lived in Hayburn since 1978.
He is survived by his wife of Hayburn; two sons; a daughter; two brothers, Jake and William Brethauer, both of Greeley, three sisters, Rachel Lanning and Esther Miner, both of Greeley, and Lola Walters of San Leandro, Calif.; and 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son.
