Services were held Jan 5, at the Wray United Methodist Church for George B. Brethauer, 62, Wray, who died Saturday, Jan. 2, at his home.

He was born June 22, 1919, to John and Mary Katherine Brethauer at Greeley.

On Dec 24, 1939, he married Ruth Gurss.

Brethauer grew up south of Kersey. He and his wife moved south of Laird in 1948, where they farmed and ranched. In January 1972, they moved to Wray where he was co-owner of Bugs Farm Supply.

Survivors are his wife, Ruth of Wray; three sons, Steve of Wray, Larry of Richardson, Texas, and George of Dhahran, Saudi Arabia; three sisters, Esther and Rachel, both of Greeley, and Lola of San Francisco, calif.; three brothers, Bill of Yuma, Fred of Rupert, Idaho, and Jake of Kersey, and seven grandchildren. A brother, John, is deceased.

Interment was at Grandview Cemetery, Fort Collins.
