HILDA M. JEANTY
Hilda M. Jeanty, formerly of Kiel, died Sunday, April 14, 1994 at Chilton Village Nursing Home, Chilton. She is the former Hilda Menne, born June 30, 1905 in Kiel. She is a daughter of the late Phillip and Caroline Becker Menne. She attended Kiel Public school and graduated from Kiel High School in 1923. On Feb. 10, 1945 she married Edward Jeanty at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. The couple farmed in the town of Russell until 1947 when they moved to Kiel. Mrs. Jeanty worked for the Commonwealth Telephone Co. for 15 years and was employed at Roeck's Bakery for 24 years. She retired in 1973. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kiel.
Survivors include nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1987; one brother and two sisters.
Funeral Mass was held at St. Peter and Paul Church, Kiel with the Rev. Loren Nys, S.D.S. officiating. Cremation will follow.
