Miss Anna Menne, 73, of 508 Chicago St., Kiel, died early Sunday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she was a patient five days.

She was born Oct. 26, 1900 in the town of Rhine, a daughter of the late Philip and Caroline Ecker Menne.(sic) She later moved to Kiel with her parents, where she attended Kiel Public Schools and graduated from Kiel High School in 1918.

She was a co-owner of East Side Grocery in Kiel and later was employed in the sales department of Lake to Lake Dairy in Kiel. Miss Menne retired eight years ago.

She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, and the Kiel Senior Citizens.
Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Klauck and Mrs. Edward Jeanty, both of Kiel. A brother preceded her in death.

The Funeral Mass was Wednesday at Ss. Peter and Paul Church. The Rev. Francis Kerscher, pastor, was the celebrant. Brief family services were held at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

Funeral services for Miss Anna Menne, 73, of 508 Chicago St., Kiel, who died early Sunday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Meiselwitz Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. The Rev. Francis Kerscher will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday until the time of service. A service of the wake will be held at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday.
