Vincent Harold Flusche, 86, of Muskogee, died Monday, December 2, 2013 at Pleasant Valley Health Care Center. He was born April 22, 1927 in Muskogee to Leo and Sarah (Wichman) Flusche. Vincent was educated at Eugene Field School west of Muskogee and attended the Nazarene Academy. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Vincent worked as a dairyman for 33 years and then ranched until his health required him to turn over the business to his daughter and grandchildren. Vincent was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a 4-H volunteer for many years helping members with their beef projects, served as a Soil Conservation board member and Farmers Home Administration board member. He received the Muskogee County Farm Family of the year award in 1978. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rose Flusche; sisters, Irene Stapleton of Portland, OR, Leona Owens of Cheasapeake, VA, Lucille Lamberson of Muskogee and Margaret Ahlert of Ft. Smith, AR.
