Irene Helen Lambrecht, 81, Topeka passed away Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, at a Topeka nursing home. She was born Sept. 27, 1923, in Topeka, the daughter of George and Catherine Kisner Sommers.
She lived in North Topeka all her life. She worked at Morrill Packing prior to the 1951 flood and then worked at Elkhart Drug Store for 20 years.
Irene married Anton "Tony" Lambrecht on Oct. 17, 1959. Tony preceded her in death in 1998. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Mrs. Lambrecht is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. She will lie in state from noon to 9 p.m. today at Davidson Funeral Home, where a rosary service at 6:30 p.m. will be followed by family visitation until 8 pm.
