Edward C. Roth, 90, died at his home in Owasco on Sunday at 3:45 p. m., following an illness of three months. Funeral services were held at the L. E. Moore & Son Funeral Home at 2 p. m. on Tuesday, with the Rev. Stanley B. Hopper officiating. Burial was in Fair Haven cemetery.

He was born in Tippecanoe county, Sept. 26, 1865, the son of Enoch and Catherine (Reppert) Roth. On Oct. 26, 1886, he married Tillarah Peters, who preceded him in death on Jan. 1, 1947. He was a retired carpenter and was a member of the Lutheran church.

Surviving are three sons, Preston of Rossville, Emerson of Frankfort and Ora of Rossville; three daughters, Mrs. Laura Butler of West Point, Mrs. Mabel Fickle of Kirklin and Mrs. Dorothy Wagoner of Rossville; two sisters, Mrs. Minerva Kreisher and Mrs. Cora Maish, both of Kokomo; a brother, Harvey Roth of Sidney, Ohio; 13 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
