Cosmas J. Roth, aged 60, died yesterday at 12:15 following a long illness with complications. He had been seriously ill for the past six weeks. He was born in Tippecanoe county on September 25, 1862, the son of Eriuh and Katherine Roth. He had been a invalid since a small child. He never married.
He is survived by five brothers, Samuel Roth of Edna Mills, Ed Roth of Owasco, Henry and Nathan of Mechanicsburg, and Harry of Tiffin, O. Four sisters also survive. They are: Mrs. Cora Maish of Kokimo, Mrs. Ida Simerts, Piqua, O.; Mrs. Minerva Price and Mrs. Margaret Burkhalter of this city.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock at the Aughe undertaking home on North Main street. Rev. E.E. Moorman will officiate and interment will be in Bunnell cemetery.
