With many loving memories, the family of Wilfred Mass of Lemberg announces his passing at the age of 82 years. Wilfred was born to Ferdinand and Maria Mass. He grew up on the family farm and worked, lived and was involved in the family farm for his entire life. Wilfred enjoyed life and was especially joyful when surrounded by his family, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. He also enjoyed playing cards with his family and friends. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years, Lillian; son Brian (Joanne) and daughter Charlene (Dan) Kanciruk of Regina; six grandchildren, Joey (Stacey), Jamie, Jeremy Kanciruk and Sarah (Josh Baber), Brent and Paul Mass, and 7 great-grandchildren, Skyla, Kelsey, Paxton, Haven, Jet, Oceania, and Layla. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Eleanor Mass, Elsie Mass , Doreen Mass and his numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his 4 brothers and 5 sisters. Visitation for family and friends will be held in Matthews Funeral Home, Melville, at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2009. The funeral service will be held in Trinity Lutheran Church, Lemberg on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Wayne Garman officiating. Wilfred will be laid to rest in the Lemberg Cemetery. Everyone is welcome to join the family for lunch at the Community Hall following the interment service .
