Leo P. Kienzle, 92, of Butler died Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Oct. 20, 1914, in Branchton, he was the son of Frank and Dorothy Stengel Kienzle.
He retired in 1974 from Butler Armco, where he was an inspector.
He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, the Butler Hunting and Fishing Club, and the National Rifle Association.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie Carnahan Kienzle, to whom he was married to for 67 years. Also surviving are a son; three daughters; two brothers; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were eight brothers and four sisters.
KIENZLE - Friends of Leo P. Kienzle, who died Sunday, July 1, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, with the Rev. Pierre Falkenhan officiating.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Members of the Women's Council of St. Peter Church will meet to recite the rosary at 9:40 a.m. Thursday at the church.
