Mrs. Rose Hemauer Mueller, 80, of Stockbridge, died Monday at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, after an extended illness.

Born on May 22, 1893 at rural Chilton, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anton Nadler. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Stockbridge, the Christian Mothers Society of the parish, the Stockbridge American Legion Auxiliary, and the Daughters of Isabella in Chilton.

Survivors include her husband, Henry; five daughters Mrs. Gib (Lucille) Schoen, Mrs. William (Elaine) Goeser, Mrs. Sylvester (Doris) Zahringer, all of Stockbridge, Mrs. Robert (Rosemary) Parsons, Fond du Lac, and Mrs. John (Mabel) Cooper, R. 1, Appleton, and six sons, Alfred Hemauer of West Bend, Clarence Hemauer of Hilbert, Robert Hemauer of Plymouth, Jerome Hemauer of Tucson, Ariz., Francis Hemauer of Madison and John Hemauer of New Holstein.

She also is survived by five stepdaughters, Mrs. Phillip (Rita) Slazyeck of Baraboo, Mrs. John (Delores) Cain of Elkhart Lake, Mrs. Harold (Betty) Lehman of Plymouth Mrs. John (Imelda) Berry of Milwaukee and Mrs. Robert (Marion) Mauer of New Holstein; two stepsons, Ambrose Mueller of Kohler and Ray Mueller of Escondido, Calif.; 75 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Lucy Nadler of Sheboygan.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Stockbridge, with the Rev. David Koehne, pastor, as celebrant of the requiem Mass. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Fargo Funeral Home, Stockbridge, after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
