Mrs. Frank Nadler died Thursday, at her home in Chilton after a stroke suffered about a week ago.
She was born in Germany January 14, 1854, and at the age of thirteen months came to this country with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Reinl. On May 10, 1875, she was married to Frank Nadler at Charlesburg. The couple resided on a farm near Marytown for two years after their marriage and then purchased a farm know as the Nadler homestead in the town of Stockbridge. In 1908 their son, Anton, took over the farm and they moved to Chilton where they resided ever since.
In 1925 Mr. and Mrs. Nadler celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. Mr. Nadler passed away about three years ago.
Survivors are a son, Anton, of Stockbridge; Miss Lucy at home and one grandchild, Kathleen Nadler, whom the couple raised as their own since she was five after the death of her mother, Mrs. John Popp of St. John; Mrs. Phillip Nett of Sherwood; Mrs. John Hemauer of Stockbridge; Mrs. Anna Dietz of Chilton; forty-seven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren; one brother, Ray Reinl of Charlesburg, and one sister, Mrs. J. J. Roehrig, of Adrian, Minn.
Last summer Mrs. Nadler, Miss Lucy Nadler and Kathleen Nadler motored to Adrian, Minn., to visit Mrs. Roehrig, Mrs. Nadler's only surviving sister.
Funeral services will be conducted at St. Marys' Catholic Church Monday with the Rev. H. E. Hunck in charge. Burial will be made in the church cemetery.
