Martha Janzen, 78, of 519 W. Kettleman Lane, died in a local hospital Sunday following an extended illness. A native of Yankton, S.D., she grew up in Peabody, Kans. She married the late Otto H. Janzen in 1912. They lived there until 1952 when they moved to Lodi. She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Connie Lien of Lodi, Mrs. Margie Miller of Great Bend, Kan., Mrs. Pat Schumacher of Reno, Nev., and Mrs. Maxine Spradling of Vernalis.; six sons, Jack Janzen of Pomona, Chet Janzen of North Hollywood, Jerry Janzen of Wichita, Kan., Rodney Janzen of Mesa, Ariz., Richard Janzen of Sacramento two brothers, Charlie Delk of Wichita, Kansas and David Delk of Sacramento; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
