Agnes M. Buxkemper, 69, died Saturday, Feb. 27, 1999, at a local hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Louis Catholic Church with Monsignor Mark Deering as celebrant. Interment will be at Waco Memorial Park.
Mrs. Buxkemper was born March 25, 1929, in Lott, Texas, to Joe and Frances Niekamp Michalewicz. She and Wilbert Buxkemper were married Aug. 13, 1947. They celebrated 51 years of marriage. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Buxkemper was a longtime Waco resident, a member of St. Louis Catholic Church and was active in the Women's Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Joe Michalewicz and Johnny Michalewicz; and a sister, Mary Buxkemper.
Survivors include her husband, Wilbert P. Buxkemper; four daughters, Betty Moore and husband Larry of Waco, Janet Hill and husband George of Houston, Loretta Thomas and husband Frank of Lorena and Karen Buxkemper of Waco; four sons, Melvin Buxkemper and wife Diane of Elm Mott, Mark Buxkemper and wife Andra of College Station, Steve Buxkemper and wife Sharon of Lenoir City, Tenn., and Paul Buxkemper and wife Faith of Hewitt; 17 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two brotehrs, Albert Michalewicz and Otto Michalewica, both of Lott; and two sisters, Lena Winkler of Waco and Annie Caldwell of Mart.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Saint Veronica's Circle of Saint Louis Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
