Albert Michalewicz, 90, of Lott, died Saturday, March 19, 2016, in a Rosebud Nursing Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lott. Rev. Ron Feather officiating. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Lott.
Mr. Michalewicz was born February 16, 1926 in Lott to Joe and Frances Niekamp Michalewicz. He lived all of his life in the Lott area. He served in the US Army during World War II and married Josephine Hubik on February 10, 1948. He farmed and ranched and worked for Marlin Mills and Norvest Turkey Processing in Marlin. He was the caretaker of Sacred Heart Cemetery for many years and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife.
He is survived by two sons: David Michalewicz and wife Dolores and Patrick Michalewicz and wife Susan both of Lott
Three daughters: Lillian Hoelscher and husband Tony Lynn and Doris Wilde and husband Dennis both of Westphalia and Judy Smith and husband Owen of Camby,OR
One Sister: Annie Caldwell of Mart
