Note: Birth date listed on the grave marker says 1894. Mary's brother Joseph is one year older than Mary, so if he was born in 1896, then she would be born in 1897. this would fit the age given on the Passenger List of Immigration to Canada 1905, where she is listed as 8 years old and Joseph 9 1/2. If anyone knows for certain the birth date of Mary, or any other of the Latka children, please feel free to submit an edit.
