Rose N. Kruse, 88, of ..., died Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Lakeview Nursing Home. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. The Rev. James Kautz will officiate. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery...
Mrs. Kruse was born Dec. 11, 1901, in Holstein, Bermany, to John and Katherine Wenn Steuben (sic). She received her education in Germany and as a young girt come to the U.S. with her parents, who then farmed in the rural Grand Island area. She attended school in the Grand Island area. She married George Kruse April 23, 1924 in Grand Island. They farmed in and around the Grand Island area. Mrs. Kruse had worked at the Conoco Motel in housekeeping. Mr. Kruse died in October 1980. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church.
Survivors include one son, William of Grand Island; two grandsons; ..., and one sister, Mildred Knuth of Grand Island. She was preceded in death by one son, Ernest; four brothers, and three sisters.
