He is survived by his children, Fern (Russ) Bowder, Jefferson City, MO; Doris (Ernie) Rex, St. Charles, IL; Sandra (Gary) Lindsey, Hillsboro, MO; and Nancy Leonard, Hillsboro, MO; one sister, Edna Pooker, Crystal City, MO; ten grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Ann (nee Bauman) Steinbach; siblings, Tillie Keister, Ella Knoke, Herbert, Ernst, and Alvin Steinbach. Lorenz was an equipment operator for the Jefferson County Highway Department; and also a dairy farmer.
