Nina Kiefer passed away at the Hendricks County Hospital in Danville, Indiana on Monday, June 17, 1975.

She was one of nine children born to the late John Wesley and Laura B. (Morgan) Hickman.

Nina was a member of the Methodist Church, and had worked for Linder's Ice Cream store from 1952 through 1962.

She married Earl Dietrich in 1923. She was the mother of Thelma "Peggy" Blanton of Plainfield, Helen Cartmell of Indianapolis, and Wray Deitrich of Van Nuys, California; grandmother of four and great-grandmother of two.

She is also survived by two sisters: Anna Vise of New Palestine and Goldie McCalip of Acton, Indiana, and a brother: Paul Hickman of Indianapolis.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters; Elsie Ross, Bertha Jones and Cora Salbeck, and two brothers; Harry and Charles Hickman.

Services for Mrs. Kiefer were at the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home in Plainfield, Indiana and conducted by the Rev. Dillon Lafflin.
