Mrs. Joseph Dinges Sr., formerly Elizabeth Kaiser, was born Dec. 8, 1868, in Germany. She came to this community in 1881 and has worked some in Sac City and Wall Lake. Aside from that she has never lived more than nine miles from Odebolt.
She was married to George Landgraf in 1885 at Wall Lake. They were the parents of seven children, all living. Mr. Landgraf died in 1903.
She was remarried to Joseph Dinges Sr. in 1915 at Odebolt. They moved to town in `916 and still live in their comfortable home on Main Street.
