Passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 2, 2014, with her family at her side. She had reached the age of 88 years. Queen was born on February 7, 1926 to Joseph Dieckmann and Ida (nee: Lowery) in Jonesburg, Missouri. Queen married Earl M Schwerdt on September 20, 1947 in St. Charles, Missouri. They celebrated 63 years of marriage before his passing in February of 2010. Queen and Earl owned The White House Tavern in Augusta, Missouri and then opened Earls Bar in Warrenton for 30 years before retiring. Together they had two children, Kenneth and Denneth Schwerdt. Queen enjoyed spending time with her husband, Earl, her children and her grandchildren. She was a life time member of the VFW and the American Legion, both of Warrenton. Queen was preceded in death by her loving husband Earl, one son, Kenneth, her parents, one brother Joseph Dieckmann, three sisters, Hetty McClintie, Ida Belle Tipp and Clara Dothage. She is survived by her son Denneth and wife Peggy, five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
