Daniel Ehrhardt, 67, of 800 Ehrhardt Dr., a resident of Lodi for 40 years, died Friday noon in a local hospital following an extended illness. He was born in Ramona, Kansas, and came here in 1923. He farmed extensively on vineyard land near the present site of the Lodi Memorial Hospital, and at his ranch on Woodbridge Road.
Mr. Ehrhardt was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Lodi Sportsmen's Club, the Joaquin Camellia Society, and the Brotherhood of St. Paul's Lutheran Chruch.
He was the husband of Mrs. Katherine Ehrhardt of Lodi; the father of Mrs. Eugene (Cleohma) Chesi, of Lodi; the grandfather of Jacquelyn Chesi and Daniel Chesi, of Lodi; the brother of Sam Ehrhardt of Lodi and Soloan Ehrhardt of Lodi, Mrs. Phoebe Schwemmer of Lodi, and the late Isaac Ehrhardt of Lodi, and Jacob Ehrhardt of San Andreas.
He was the son-in-law of Mrs. Susan Schneider of Ramona, Kan.; and the brother-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Freidli and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Riffel, all of Lodi.
Burial in Cherokee Memorial Park.
