Jacob Ehrhardt Of San Andreas Claimed By Death
Jacob Ehrhardt, 74, of Star Route, Mountain Ranch Road, San Andreas, died at his home Sunday morning following a heart attack.
A native of Marion, Kansas, he moved to Lodi in 1921 and resided here until his retirement in 1952 at which time he moved to San Andreas.
He worked for Foster & Wood Canning Co. before he retired.
He is survived by his wife Mollie Schwemmer Ehrhardt, and a son Alvin (Al) Ehrhardt, manager of the Community Winery. He was also the father of the late Ervine Ehrhardt and son the the late George and Elizabeth Ehrhardt. He was the brother of Sam and Dan Ehrhardt both of Lodi, Solomon Ehrhardt of Lincoln, Nebraska and Mrs. Phoebe Schwemmer of Lodi and the late Isaac Ehrhardt.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of the Wells Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery.
