LODI, Nov 13-Sam Ehrhardt, 79, of 220 E. Lodi, a Lodian since 1920, died last night in a local hospital after a short illness. He was born in Kansas, and after moving here, farmed until 1938, when he became a security guard at Lodi Super Mold Corp., serving in that capacity for 18 years. During recent years, Mr. Ehrhardt entertained local rest home patients by playing the violin and accordion.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth; his sons, Ezra, Edwin, Ben, and Richard of Rancho Cordova; his daughter, Mrs. Pearl Bennett of Lodi; a brother, Solomon of Lincoln, Neb.; a sister, Mrs. Phoebe Schwemmer of Lodi; 18 grandchildren, and three step-grandchildren. Mr. Ehrhardt was a member of the Seventh-Day Church of God.
