Peter Kaiser Sr., 79, of 209 Chestnut St., died at 11:25 a.m. Saturday at St. Agnes Hospital.
Mr. Kaiser was born Oct. 27, 1887, in Grimm, Russia. He married Charlotte Stertz and she died Jan. 13, 1953. He then married Elizabeth Fiebig who preceded him in death in 1962. Mr. Kaiser had been employed by the Northern Casket Co. Nuss Lumber Co. and Sterling Lumber Co. He retired in 1958. He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
Survivors include three sons, Leon of Fargo, N.D. and Peter Jr. and Immanuel of the city; two daughters, Miss Irma Kaiser of the city and Mrs. Floyd Vossekuil of Milwaukee; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may call today at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home until 2:30 p.m. Tuesday when the body will be taken to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and lie in state until the 3 p.m. funeral service, Rev. Karl Gurgel officiating. Burial will be in Estabrooks Cemetery.
