Katie was born in Saratof, Russia. Her parents are Conrad and Katherine (Bernt) Hegwald. Katie was one of ten children, of which seven were no longer living in 1916. She came to the United States with her parents in 1892. She married (first) Gideon Ramsdell in 1897 and has one son, Henry J. 1898-1969. Gideon died shortly after, Katie married (second) George J Pearce in 1900, they have two children, George Lamont 1905-bef 1969 and Junia Elizabeth 1913-bef 1991. Family Records
