Elinor Ann Wilson, age 83 passed away at the Gove County Medical Center in Quinter. She was born to Clifford and Ethel (Johnson) Bland. Until recent years, she lived in Gove most of her life. She graduated from the Gove High School in 1949. On Aug. 19 1951 she was united in marriage to Lawrence Elmer Wilson in Gove.They enjoyed 57 yrs of marriage together. She served as Gove County Register of deeds from 1977-1996. She was very active with the Gove Community Bible Church having generously volunteer her time and talent in both the Womens' group and as a Sunday Scool teacher, She loved quilting and gardening and also enjoyed reading a book or simply spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed by many...(A second mother to me I knew for 48 yrs). Survivors include a son, Cliff and his wife Sharon of Edmond, Ok. two daughters, Lisa and husband Butch Minium of Hoxie and Jeanne Daniels of Gove; three grandchildren, Cody Minium of Colby, Ashley Minium of Overland Park and John Daniels of Denver; two great-grandchildren Tori Daniels and Alexis Daniels, both of Overland Park; one brother, Don Bland of McPherson; one sister, Marie Beesley of Quinter and one sister-in-law, Barbara Bland of New Hampshire. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband (2-28-2009), one son, Bruce (12-21-2002); grandson Justin Daniels (5-23-2005), brothers Clifford and wife Dora, Kenneth and wife Mae and Wayne, brother in law, Gail Beesley, and sister in law Bernice Bland.
