Katherine Trupp

Mrs. Katherine M Trupp, 87, Loveland, died Friday, Nov. 4, at her home.

She was born Nov. 11, 1895, to Henry and Barbara (Fahrenbruch) Hoff at Frank, Russia.

On May 12, 1914, she married Henry C. Trupp at Loveland.

Mrs. Trupp came to the United States with her parents in 1899, settling at Hastings, Neb. She moved with her parents to Loveland in February 1902, and attended schools there. After her marriage, the couple farmed in the Johnstown and Loveland areas. They moved into Loveland in 1942, and had lived there since.

She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Loveland, and the Dwayne Chapter of War Mothers at Loveland.

Survivors are her husband, Henry, of Loveland; three daughters, Mrs. Carl (Mildred) Reichel of Loveland, Elberta Senn of Grand Junction and Mrs. Don (Geraldine) Perry of Englewood; a son, Vernon of Loveland; two sisters, Mary Green of Denver and Lydia Sitzman of Gresham, Ore.; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. An infant daughter, Ruth, a sister, Mrs. George (Anne) Walker, and a brother, Henry Hoff, are deceased.

Services were Tuesday at the First Congregational Church of Loveland, with pastor Lanning Johnson officiating. Interment was in Loveland Burial Park.

Contributions may be made to the First Congregational Church Memorial Fund in care of the Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home, 1102 Lincoln Ave., Loveland, which is in charge of arrangements.
