Henry H Hoff Dies in Loveland Hospital

Henry H. Hoff of 409 E. Seventh street died at Loveland Memorial hospital Wednesday evening, following an illness of two weeks.

Mr. Hoff was born in Frank, Russia, Jan. 17, 1886, the son of Henry and Barbara Hoff. In 1899 he came with his family to the United States settling first at McCook, Neb., and later going to Garden City, Kan., before coming to Loveland to make their home in 1901.

He married Mary Stroh June 5, 1904, in Loveland. They farmed in this vicinity until his retirement in 1943. Mrs. Hoff died Sept. 24, 1953

Mr. Hoff was a member of the First Congregational church.

Survivors include four sons, Reuben of Harrah, Wash.; Ralph of Fresno, Calif., and Harry and Wilbur of Denver; six daughters, Mrs. Elfreda Weitzel of Loveland, Mrs. Dorthea Hofferber of Los Angeles, Mrs. Loretta Phillips of Colorado Springs, Mrs. Eileen Frank of Broomfield, and Mrs. Viola Lebsack and Mrs. Ruth Price, both of Denver.

There are also four sisters, Mrs. Katherine Trupp of Loveland, Mrs. Anna Walker of Longmont, Mrs. Mary Green of Denver and Mrs. Lydia Sitzman of Portland, Ore.; 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m., from the First Congregational church, with the Rev. A. Brenning officiated. Interment services will be at Lakeside cemetery with the Hunter funeral home in charge of arrangements.
