Mary H Green

Mary Hoff Green, 93, of Lakewood, died Aug. 30.

She was born March 20, 1898, to Henry and Barbara Fahrenbruch Hoff in Frank, Russia. She came to America with her family in 1899. She spent her early years in Loveland. She married William Green on March 10, 1918. He preceded her in death in 1965.

She and her husband farmed in the Berthoud, Johnstown, Loveland and Eastlake areas. She later lived in the Denver area.

She was a lifelong member of the First Congregational Church and later First German Congregational Church in Denver.

She is survived by a son, Delbert Green, Phoenix, Ariz.; a daughter, Alvera Blackwood, Lakewood; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the First German Congregational Church in Arvada.

Olinger's Crown Hill Mortuary in Denver is in charge of arrangements.
